Costs

The total fee to include administration/procurement, transportation, processing and storage for the first 25 years of stem cell storage and/or cord tissue is as follows:

• CryoCord Service: £1645.00

• CryoCord+ Service: £2145.00

The total fee is broken down as follows:

Initial booking fee of £195* is payable at the time of placing the order. This is followed by the following, based on the package selected:

• CryoCord Service: A Service Fee of £1450.00 will be invoiced to you after birth and successful storage of cord blood stem cells.

• CryoCord+ Service**: A Service Fee of £1950.00 will be invoiced to you after birth and successful storage of cord blood stem cell storage and cord tissue.

* Booking fee is non-refundable.
** If for any reason one of the samples does not pass processing standards, client shall only pay £1450.00 for storage of cord blood stem cells or cord tissue.
+ Discount will be appiled to the final invoice after successful processing, testing and storage of cord blood and/or cord tissue.

Note: 1) Credit/Debit card payments will incur 4% payment processing fee 2)Expecting twins: 25% discount on the processing, testing, cryopreservation and storage of the second twin.

Phlebotomy Service

Phlebotomist (inclusive of waiting time): £275.00

We shall arrange a phlebotomist for you, who are qualified and approved as third party phlebotomists by Cells Limited.

Total cost of service: £1695.00, breakdown as follows:

Initial Payment of £195.00 (includes the cost of the Cord Blood Collection Kit and Courier)

Three Payments of £500.00 every month payable after successful processing (includes the cost of Processing, Testing and 25 years Storage)

Payment Plan

Total cost of service: £2195.00, breakdown as follows:

Initial Payment of £195.00 (includes the cost of the Cord Blood Collection Kit and Courier)

One Payment of £700.00 followed by two payments of £650.00 payable after successful processing (includes the cost of Processing, Testing and 25 years Storage)

Credit/Debit card payments

 Credit/Debit card payments will incur 4% payment processing fee.

We invoice our clients according to the classification of the sample received which is as follows:

SUCCESSFUL - Samples that fulfil the requirements for successful storage of stem cells.
Clients will be invoiced for the processing and 25 years storage.
FAILED - Samples that fail to meet the requirements needed for the successul storage of stem cells.
Clients will not be invoiced for the processing and 25 years storage and the samples will be destroyed according to health regulations.
BORDERLINE - samples that do not fully meet the expected standard for successful storage of stem cells but could be expanded and made usable at a later stage depending upon the scientific development taking place in the field, i.e. cells expansion technique etc.
Clients will be given the option to have such samples stored free of charge. Once the technology can enable the lab to upgrade the sample to the required standard the client shall be informed and invoiced for the pending fees.


Credit/Debit Card Payments:

  • Customers' transaction will appear on their card statement as "MC - Cells Ltd 02088618314".
  • Strict confidentiality of customers' data is ensured.
  • The initial payment of £195 including VAT is non-refundable in accordance with the Cord Blood Storage Agreement. The balance amount of £1450 or £1950 is invoiced after successful storage of stem cells / umbilical cord. In case any customers who have had made full payment upfront, will receive a refund of £1450/£1950 in case of unsuccessful sample.
  • Fees paid after successful storage of stem cells are non-refundable.
  • Credit/Debit card payments will incur 4% payment processing fee.
  • Acknowledgements for receipt of orders and payments will be promptly issued well within 24 hours.

  • There are no restriction on exportation since the cord blood sample is declared as "non-restricted item".
