Classification of samples
SUCCESSFUL - Samples that fulfil the requirements for successful storage of stem cells.
Clients will be invoiced for the processing and 20 years storage.
FAILED - Samples that fail to meet the requirements needed for the successul storage of stem cells.
Clients will not be invoiced for the processing and 20 years storage and the samples will be destroyed according to health regulations.
BORDERLINE - samples that do not fully meet the expected standard for successful storage of stem cells but could be expanded and made usable at a later stage depending upon the scientific development taking place in the field, i.e. cells expansion technique etc.
Clients will be given the option to have such samples stored free of charge. Once the technology can enable the lab to upgrade the sample to the required standard the client shall be informed and invoiced for the pending fees.
